PICS Website – Trainees Section
Training the next generation of paediatric intensive care professionals is a high priority for PICS. There are two trainee representatives who work closely together to represent trainee views and address trainee welfare in the context of PICS council matters and Grid training.
One of the trainee representatives will always attend the Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine Intercollegiate Specialty Advisory Committee (PICM I SAC) meetings that take place 3 times a year. Your trainee representatives also network closely with PICM I SAC board ensure PICS Masterclasses are educational, relevant and mapped to the E-Portfolio competencies.
The trainee representatives for 2017/2018 are Carla Thomas and Peter Sidgwick. They can be contacted at email@example.com.
